#17 Sounds not playing on Aspire One netbook running Kubuntu 12.10
Game sounds and music are not playing. This is probably due to a driver or configuration issue with Kubuntu on this netbook, so I'm not sure there is anything I can do with the code. However, even if it's a system problem, I can find the solution and make a note in the README or INSTALL project files.
Discussion
Research has shown that the Aspire One 722 netbook has sound issues with Ubuntu. I've tried this with several version of Linux Mint as well. Version worked for some reason, but I haven't gotten sound to work on other recent varieties of Ubuntu that I have installed.
I will check into this further to see if I can solve this.
I'm finding the same problem on Linux Mint 18.1 on a Toshiba Satellite C655. I can't remember if I ever tried sound on Linux Mint 17.1 on the netbook mentioned in the previous post since I haven't touched nvaderz a lot during the last few years.
