#26 pink bar and screen offset

Switching "TV on", the screen is put on my TV but with an offset to the right and the gap on te left filled plain pink. After switching back to "TV off" I've got this reproducable phenomenon on my monitor too but with the whole screen displaced to the left and a pinkish vertical bar on the right.
I'm using SuSE Linux 9.1, Nvidia GeForce4 Ti 4600 DH and nvtv 0.4.7 RPM available on LINKS2LINUX.DE (http://packman.links2linux.org/download.php?t=b&id=5011).
