There is a flag "-d" for vgosDbMake to specify database name. I tried to process the B19344 experiment and call it "19DEC19VI" for "VGOS Intensive". I run the command
LC_ALL=C vgosDbMake -d 19DEC10VI -t /mnt/raidz0/VGOS-Is-processing/b19344/crep.txt -d OSO -o /home/eskil/bexp_vgosDb/ /mnt/raidz0/VGOS-Is-processing/b19344/1234/
and I expect to get a database called 1"9DEC10VB". But instead I get one called "19DEC10VB":
11:17:29 vgosDbMake-0.5.1 (Long Branch): starting

We see it decides to call the database "19DEC10VB". I assume this is because the session is a "B-experiment" in the masterfile. I would have thought that explicitly setting the "-d" argument should override the naming. It this a bug? I understand if the masterfile is used by default, but if setting the -d flag explicitly, I would expect this to be obeyed.
Hi Eskil,
Thank you for your email! Can you say, what the second "-d OSO" option in
your command should mean?
vgosDbMake checks the size of the database and if it is !9, it ignores it,
see the log output:
11:17:31 Warning: SgVlbiSession::getDataFromFringeFiles(): the
provided database name, OSO, was ignored
Kindly yours,
Sergei.

Oh, silly me! Well spotted. The second flag should be "-r OSO" and not "-d OSO". I missed that :(. My bad, apologies for taking your time. Please close this ticket.
Kind regards
Eskil
Hi Eskil,
It is ok, do not worry :). And, please, keep asking if something happens
not as expected.
Kindly yours,
Sergei.
