    i use nusoap to check a vat id via a webservice. here is a part of my php source code:

    ' wrong vat id number
    $code = "NL";
    $id = "009442270B40";
    $param = array('countryCode' => $code, 'vatNumber' => $id );

    $client = new soapclient_nusoap('http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs/vies/api/checkVatPort');
    $response = $client->call('checkVat', $param);

    after this call i save the result in my database and then I do a header location to an other file, but this does not work:

    Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent in

    The line: $response = $client->call('checkVat', $param, "", "", true); sends some header, that my header location does not work.

    why is that? how can i prevent this?
