From within VS.NET (I have Enterprise Architect 2003, and 
Microsoft .NET framework 1.1), I'm unable to load the 
TestDriven.NET Add-In.  In other words, when I'm in 
VS.NET, and go to Tools->Add-in Manager, and check the 
box next to 'TestDriven.NET 1.0.915.0', I get a popup with 
the following message:

The Add-In 'TestDriven.NET 1.0.915.0' failed to load or 
caused an exception.

The new XML output attribute counting the number of 
Asserts in a test case works correctly at the low levels.
Unfortunately the project level XML line shows a value 
of zero.

I have a system with both VS 2005 beta and VS 2003
installed, along with NUnit 2.2.  I've downloaded and
installed the latest kit, but I can't get VS 2003 to
load it.  It complains that it cannot find the
specified file.  

Note that I can load it in VS 2005, but I have some
solutions that I'm working on that I cannot switch to
2005.  I'm guessing there's some undocumented
configuration that needs to be done, or perhaps a late
night build isn't quite right.

The last Addin version that I used befor updating to 0.6.
365d (which was 0.5.120d) used to display the line 
saying

   19 succeeded, 0 failed, 0 skipped, took 0,22 seconds.

With the new version, only the message "Testing Started" 
is displayed, which is not nearly as helpful. Perhaps the 
old status information could be shown again.

NUnit Addin includes nunit.framework.dll v.2.0.4.  There 
is no support for newer features, such as the Ignore

Summary: unable to see the result of asserts..

Initial Comment:
I have asserted a few statements in the test fixture 
code, but I am unable to see the assetion result in 
either debugging mode, or in any window(both for addin 
as well as gui).
Is there a way to look at the assertion results ?

Summary: Problems when running multithreading tests

Initial Comment:
The latest version of the NUnit addin (0.5.120) makes it 
is impossible to run our existing multithreading tests.   
With a previous version of the addin (0.2.24), which is 
not compatible with .Net 1.1, we didn't had such a 
problem. The problem is specific for this version of this 
Addin. When use the NUnit console from the command 
line we do have this problem.

A concrete example:
test main thread starts in parallel 50 threads using the 
System.Threading.ThreadPool.QueueUserWorkItemMethod
(CallBack, Object) 
and waits until all 50 threads are finished using
System.Threads.WaitHandle.WaitAll(waithandles, 
timeout, exitContext)

We get the following exception:

System.NotSupportedException : WaitAll for multiple 
handles on an STA thread is not supported.

This is probably because NUnit addin now runs in the 
context of a windows application (it has a form attached 
to it, as these are restricted to STA).

Initial Comment:
Plug-In doesn't load when running VS.Net as standard 
user account (no administrative priviledges).  Installed 
the plug in with the local administrator account, and the 
plug-in works fine when running as the local admin.  
Switch to my domain user account (which is a member 
of local users group, and vs-developers group, and 
debugger users group), and the plug-in does not load, 
nor is it visible in the add-in manager

Output directed towards the System.Console.Out is not 
visible in the Output window of Visual Studio . Net 2003 
Remember that the standard NUnit-GUI supports this. 
Also a previous version (0.2.24) of the Addin supported 
this:

    System.Console.WriteLine("Hello"); 
// output is NOT visible in the VS output window  
    ...
}

Summary: Class library .config files causes tests not to run

Initial Comment:
When I run the normal nunit-console.exe, .config files 
for classlibraries are nicely picked up by my unit tests.

However when I try to run the nUnit addin on the same 
dll and the somedll.dll.config is present in the same 
directory, the addin simply reports '---Done---' without 
doing anything.

When the .config file is removed, the test is executed 
however it obviously cannot find the config settings and 
therefore fails, but with proper failed messages.

This pretty much makes this otherwise nice application 
useless for my particular tests.

The "Debug Test" Menu is missing from the main Tools 
Menu in the IDE.
It appeared OK in version NUnitAddin-0.4.92d.msi

[Nunitaddin-developers] Download of reflector through proxy

Hi!

I have just added a feature request to allow dowloading of reflector through
a proxy with
authentication. I am not sure, if thats the right place, because I don't
know if the topic
of this project (nunit) has changed to become a "managed add ins" project or
not. Are there any
plans to separate a add in project?

The appropriate code changes (RegisterForm.cs and ReflectorInstaller.cs) are
attached to the feature request.

Summary: Download reflector through proxy

Initial Comment:
After the installation of the last package 
(ManagedAddIns-1.0.33.msi) I filled in the download form 
for reflector but failed because I have to pass a firewall 
with authentication.

I've changed the files
RegisterForm.cs and
ReflectorInstaller.cs
and attached them to work around the problem.

It would be nice, if you could integrate the changes.
