#31 Install error 2356

Hi all,

I had a previous version of the addin installed : no
problem (XP, VS.NET 1.0).

I uninstall this version, reboot then when I try to install
the latest one (0.4.96), it fails in the middle of the install
with message : "The installer has encountered an
unexpected error installing this package. This may
indicate a problem with this package. The error code is
2356".

I have browsed google groups without success.

Does any of you have any clue about this ?

Hi Seb,

I haven't come across this problem before. There are another
couple of builds since the one you tried to install. You could
try installing one of them. If this doesn't work, could you try
using 'System Restore' to roll back and then install the latest
version. If you loose anything important you can always roll
forward to retrieve your work. I have found 'System Restore' a
lifesaver in the past with nasty installer problems.

Can you remember which previous build you had installed? If
you can I'll try recreating the problem.

I get exactly the same error (towards the end of the
installation process). I use:

Win XP Pro 5.1.2600
VS.Net 7.0.9466
NUnit 2.1.4
.Net Framework 1.1.4322
NUnit AddIn 0.5.120d
