Prerequisites

In order to use all the features of this application you should install "xdotool" on your pc.

(downloadable from http://www.semicomplete.com/projects/xdotool/)

How to Install/Run Numpad

  • The tar.gz file contains a directory named "numpad" and two scripts.
  • Put the content of the tar.gz file wherever you want. The directory "numpad" and the script "install.sh" MUST be in the same path!
  • Type "./install.sh" : the script will download the libraries you need and will install the application.
  • Type "numpad" to run it.

How to Uninstall

  • Go to /usr/local/numpad
  • Type "./uninstall.sh"

How to Change Numpad Look And Feel

  • After you install numpad, every image will be uploaded by gui from directory /usr/local/numpad/images. If you want you can replace everyone of them giving to your new images the same name and dimension of older images. New images must replace older ones in the same directory.
