Still working

Don't worry, I am still working on this project, albeit alone and slowly.

Implementing Items and Mobs at the moment, should be visible in-game in a few weeks time with any luck (both items and mobs). Anyone interested in helping would be much appreciated, just email me, post something in the project forums, anything you want and I'll see about helping you start out on the project.

There are still less than 5000 lines of code (All Java), so you should be able to glance over almost all of the code within a few hours and begin contributing where you see fit, pretty much every aspect of the game needs work. Additionally, I'm kind of over the idea of an ASCII-based client, so if anyone out there wants to begin work on a 2D or 3D (with movement only on x,y axis for the moment) client, I'd be glad to help you with the client-server communication side of it.... read more

NuMMoG project initiated

After working on NuMMoG alone for several weeks I have decided to release the project under an open source license.

Please, download the binaries (JRE 1.5 req.) and play around with the client/server a bit. If you feel that you can contribute to the project (and that should be very easy to do right now), please post on the sf.net forum or email me (IRC channel coming later).
