Calculating eigenvectors or eigenvalues from matrices containing NaNs or INF is not possible and will yield arbitrary values. Throw an error in this case.

Analysis:

Straightforward implementation. Requires a new error code and the corresponding language strings.

Implementation:

  • Implementation test: Eigenvalues from a matrix with and without invalid values were calculated. In the latter case, the code throwed as expected.
