This fixes some major flaws in the locale handling for format_price and adds a bunch of new locale-based formatting abilities for that method. The constructor new() is also restructured, and the test suite has been converted to Test::More finally. Please grab it from CPAN and give it a try, and let me know if you have any problems. |

Version 1.52 of Number::Format is now available. The fix is a minor one, which only affects format_price. The currency string is now guaranteed to have a space at the end. This fixes a failure in the test suite that was introduced with version 1.51. Number::Format is now a SourceForge project and we are happy to accept new developers. Please contact me if you are interested in contributing. The SourceForge project page is here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/number-format/ Thank you for your interest in Number::Format. |

For years I've had the Number::Format Perl module on my own machine in a CVS repository. But just recently I have registered it as a project on sourceforge.net so that others can help too. I already have a couple of people signed up as developers and we should start seeing some of those bugs you may have been worrying about finally getting fixed! :-) As part of this, the mailing list "number-format-announce" is being moved. I have automatically transferred everyone to the new mailing list host on sourceforge. Please contact me if you have any concerns or questions. -- Help bring back the San Jose Earthquakes - http://www.soccersiliconvalley.com/ |
