Today I gave a lecture using NullSlides for presenting my slides. To broadcast the speech I set up an icecast server. As far as I can tell the experiment worked out quite well. All listeners reported that the presentation did work nicely and were positively surprised about the fact that an online lecture is possible.
Now I do believe in this project even more and will try to get on with it as soon as it's possible.
I was lucky today, that there was nobody using a proprietary browser like IE, what would habe been a problem as NullSlides currently doesn't work in IE. If there's anybody out there who's got some experience with AJAX and IE: I'd be happy to welcome you as member of the NullSlides team. I'm currently working with unix only and therefore unable to develop for IE properly.
