Due to popular demand, we officially decided to port PHP Nuke Bit Torrent Module to a stand-alone format and to all other CMS's (Content Management Systems), like XOOPS, Postnuke, MKPortal and more...
We're not planning an ASP porting for ASPNuke for now, because we work with PHP. Nobody knows what we'll do in future.

I'm writing this article to not always renew our Help Wanted message.
We urgently need Visual C++ coders. There is a known issue about the Bit Torrent Module not working on firewalled servers. On those servers, Bit Torrent scrape is not allowed. Even if we managed to do not let the Module stop with an error, Bit Torrents' sources are not reported at all.

The only way to fix it is to allow webmasters use a "scraper client" at home. This application will simply query the trackers in order to obtain sources data (seeds & leechers), then these informations will be returned to PHP Nuke server.... read more

We're not dead... we're working on next version of PHP Nuke Bit Torrent Module. This new version will have many more features than the actual one.

We are building and testing a new Rated Ban system, that allows users decide which Torrents should be banned by sending a complaint. Did one of your users upload an illegal Torrent? After a couple of days it will get so many complaints that it will be automatically banned from PHP Nuke. A log will be created and you'll be able to see why that Torrent has been banned.... read more

as promised, our new version 0.80 has been now released. Main features are:

I want to inform everybody that tomorrow, Sunday November 28th, the new 0.80 version of the Module will be released. All the bugs have been fixed and major changes have been done to the database.
New features include:

Fixed ALL the bugs. Now the version is stable.
Fixed visual bugs.
Available languages: Italian, English, Turkish, Spanish.
Changed the structure of the tables to prepare for the coming feature of the Multiscrape.
Added "Source URL", which is the site people found the Torrent on. Helpful against legal troubles
Choose the mode you want to use with Source URL:
DISABLED: the Source URL is not displayed
PREFER TORRENT: the Source URL is displayed separately if available
PREFERRED URL: if available, Source URL replaces the Torrent download link.
FORCE URL: the Torrent download link is always replaced with Source URL. If not available, download is impossible.
All the configuration variables have been passed to database and been removed from config.php
Added native support for GoogleTap-NExtGEn from http://gt.audioslaved.com in order to raise your Google Index & PR.
Beta Admin interface: you can create Bit Torrent Administrators. ... read more
