    It sounds like an apache extension/module which is blocking
    any POST/GET request with "select from" in its data

    good point, karma.... just never think of what module does
    this.... puzzling

    From the forum:

    " I had another 406 error when installing a new cgi script
    on my server and ended contacting the hosting company.

    They said they had some newly implemented security routines
    and that is what the 406 error indicated; that something was
    triggering the security routine for that cgi script.

    I also mentioned the problem with posting in Nucleus and now
    that some server side changes have been made on the problems
    is resolved."
