New code available

The CVS server has just received a massive influx of source code. If you want to know how this project is shaping up, now is your chance to take a look at our progress.

Please remember, however, that this is a major re-write of a large project. You can't honestly compair it to PHP-Nuke for a production environment yet. At this point, about all the code will do is let you see where we're going with this project. Of course, if you can program and are willing to help, please join our nucleus-devel mailing list and offer whatever code you've completed. All code will be reviewed.

Progressing, but slowly

At this point in time I have much of the basic API planned out and even have a working model for parts of it. I know that this is kind of a long period of time to be waiting for a typical Open Source project and I regret that. On the other hand, I'm trying to completely re-write (OK, 90% re-write) a program in my fleeting spare time. I am also doing this by myself until I reach a point with a certain degree of stability in order to prevent miscommunication about what the code is meant to do. If you want to use PHP-Nuke or another such project in the mean time, I won't blaim you. But please check back here from time to time. I hope to have an amazing system finished at some point and will definately announce it.... read more

Just getting started

Welcome aboard everyone. I'm working on co-ordinating this project with some other programmers at the moment. As soon as that is done, I'll start working on the code again. In the mean time, I have a version 0.0.2 archive that is little more than a heavily patched PHP-Nuke 3.0. It should be available for downloading shortly.

I'd like to request that you jump onto the nucleus-devel mailing list if you are interested in contributing to this project. This will allow us to get all the interested programmers in one place so that we can get started sooner.
