I hope this project isn't dead.... if anyone is still
around, where do you guys stand on adding
support for Sonnet G3 upgrades for the NuBUS
Power Macs (not powerbooks)?

I don't know if anyone saw it but someone made
an interesting suggestion.... make a Linux-side
driver for the Sonnet G3 upgrade.

Now, i'm no programmer by any means and i
realize that it may be a little weird to implement
because the G3 card needs to 'deactivate' the
original 601/60x PPC on the motherboard in order
to work..... but a well-written kernel + g3 card driver
could make use of the 601/60x processor while
using the g3 card on the linux side..... just a
thought.

We havn't added explicit support for those machines since we got no testers for those upgrades so far.
