#1 Export PRJ file based on NTX header
The NTX header contains information about the
projection and the datum. This could be used to
construct a .PRJ file to go with the shapefile. Since
a .PRJ file is just an OGC coordinate system in well
known text format, this enhancement should not require
ArcObjects.
