#9 disappearing file that magically reappear!

ok. there are files on my disk that i can only see the name that, when i
click on them, they disappear, but then when i click on something else,
such as another one of these files that just has a name, it disappears, and
the other one reappears. there *are* files and folders that i can access,
but these ones are annoying me. OSX 10.2.8. if you know whats wrong,
my email is madogsmike@netscape.net
