** Installing and Managing NTER Nodes **

*Where can I find the Google Code for NTER?
Portal: http://code.google.com/p/nter
LMS: https://code.google.com/p/nter.ilms-devel/
Kuda: http://code.google.com/p/kuda/
Moodle: https://code.google.com/p/nter.moodlelms-stable/

Some more details on the NTER tree:
• portal-core-[devel|stable] : contains most of the primary portlets, themes, and layouts
• portal-opt-[devel|stable] : contains the optional portlets, themes, and layouts
• hub-[devel|stable] : contains the code that runs the hub installation process
• user-mgmt-[devel|stable] : contains the code for the user management and login app
• registry-[devel|stable] : is the service registry

  • What type of server configuration do I need for my own NTER system?

  • If we install this at our agency, do we own it? Will we be responsible for bug fixes, builds, support, and maintenance?

  • Who is managing the code base of this system? If it is open source and managed by the community, how active are they? How many active contributors?

  • What frameworks (Spring, Struts, CakePHP, JAVA, PhP etc.), if any, were used during the software development process?

  • How often is the software release cycle for major and minor releases?
