#10 Bug in Excel Report for Test Results

We have a fix for the problem and SRI is working to incorporate into version 8.2 of the NTER LMS which will be released.

Bug Description:
If you have multiple choice tests in your courses and use the Excel Export feature to asses student test results, incorrect data is printed in tab 2 and tab 3 of the spreadsheet generated for download.
Tabs 2 and 3 of the spreadsheet list the answers students give for each question. Tab 2 of the spreadsheet shows the "A", "B", "C" version of the answer while tab 3 shows the full text of the answer.
The bug is that if students leave a question blank, the spreadsheet shows that the student answered "A".
The main tab of the spreadsheet consolidates student scores and gives correct numerical scores for the test. The error only occurs when the students answers are listed, and then only when the student leaves an answer blank.
Note that you can choose to get the data in comma separated value (CSV) format. This data is correct. It can be imported into spreadsheets for analysis.
We highly recommend that you upgrade your version of NTER LMS (NWTP) to version 8,.2 as soon as it is available.
Fixed in release 8.2.
