I appreciate all you've done to make Emacs sources available to us. I've had a lot of fun compiling Emacs on my own.
Now I feel the time has come to learn how to do CVS myself. I have the cvs software, but I'm not sure what to do.
I went to savannah.gnu.org and got Emacs, but how do I distinguish between 22 and 23? It appears that the savannah default is 22 -- how did you get 23?
Thanks.

Thanks! You can get both 22 and 23 with cvs.
For emacs 22.x: cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.savannah.gnu.org:/sources/emacs co emacs
For emacs23: cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.sv.gnu.org:/cvsroot/emacs co -r emacs-unicode-2 emacs
