This has been long overdue in linux. RRD was not doing it for me and the thing with NTOP is when will it break or crash?
Is there any plan to add something to track what is utilizing the bandwidth? I know there are lots of other tools in NST to do this just wondering if there were other plans in store for it.
Is the ntop version crashing on NST 2.16.0?
Have you tried using the active connections or setting up an nflow collector and use the nfsend nst wui page?
No, no problem in NST just seems like all the other times I have used it at other times there are always problems. I have not seen/tried nfsend wui page is that new for for 2.16? I will look for it.
nfsend page location from NST WUI menu:
Network -> Monitors -> Nfsen Management
Remember you will need to have a netflow source to configure (Router, L3 Device, NST probe, etc…)
