The current way of handling translations in NSISdl makes it complicated (or even impossible) to translate it to some languages. It is recommended to always use full sentences to support languages that have structural differences, etc. The GNU gettext manual has some useful advice on that:
http://www.gnu.org/software/gettext/manual/html_node/gettext_15.html#SEC15
Also, in the forum for translating NSISdl, some of these problems are exemplified (by translators having difficulties):
http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=1279800
See attached patch for a fix to these problems.

As this breaks backward compatibility, how about adding /TRANSLATE_BETTER, or whatever name, and having the old /TRANSLATE automatically convert the strings to the new format?

Thanks, applied as part of patch #1723131 with /TRANSLATE2.
