#947 Cannot start NSIS.exe on Win7

I'm running Windows 7 x64 and I'm unable to start the NSIS.exe application (it crashes). NSIS version is 2.46 (x86 I believe).

    Any installers I generate using makensis.exe also crash.

    Rebooting fixes this; not sure if it's a problem with GDI or NSIS... probably GDI.
