Hello Roland,
Thank you very much for your effort in building this tool.
I have ble-sniffer-osx (v1.2.4), wireshark (v2.05), OSX v10.11.6 (El Capitan) and nrf BLE Dongle with sniffer firmware 1.0.1. I have copied bso_nordic_btle.so from ~/.wireshark/plugins to ~/.config/wireshark/plugins and i can see only LE LL advertising packets as shown in the image. When my nrf51422 device is connected to Master (nrf Master Control Panel on Android), service discovery, characteristic events which are parts of LE ATT protocol are not shown.
Could you please tell me how can i view ATT packets?
well you don't need to copy any .so files because the application does that for you and links them into the right place, but it probably doesn't matter if you do.
Have you followed the instructions and selected which device you want to sniff, else it will just list everything which is advertising, that's how Nordic's sniffer works, you have to tell it which of the devices it can see you want to follow, and you have to do that before you connect to it so it can follow the connection.
If you've done all that and can't make it work, can't really help you as this is basic functionality which I know does work. Try a very simple example which doesn't use any bonding also, you can't sniff into bonded connections for various reasons.
