I am looking for deploy this software to a few users with SCCM, and was wondering if there were silent install options on the EXE install.
My next option is file copies and editing the INI file, but the install EXE does a really good job of finding and configuring it self for R and NotePad++
Absolutely, the -s or-silent will do a silent install. In addition you might want -no-startup to suppress Having NppToR added to startup programs, and -gobal for installing for all users. Silent install will install to the default locations, %appData% for single user and %programfiles(x86)% for all users, unless specified as the last parameter on the command line.
One more note is that NppToR uses the windows registry to find R so as long as R is installed correctly there should not be any problems with finding R. Otherwise the ini files could be copied for non standard installs.
Thanks for the quick response!
That is fantastic, should have this packaged in no time.
