Hi!
There is an issue when using N++ 6.7.5 on a network share (with r/w permissions) with the NppMenuSearch plugin.
An exception is thrown at startup asking for disabling the plugin and N++ completly crash when exiting (see screenshots).

The same N++ folder used locally (say from the c:\temp directory) work without any error.
Removing the file NppMenuSearch.dll from the remote plugin directory solve the issue.

The content of the network share came from a regular N++ installation with plugins installed with PluginManager.

Hi, thank you for your feedback.
Which version of NppMenuSearch have you installed? Does the problem occur with the newest version 0.9 ?
Please note that it is generally not a good idea to run executables from writable directories or network shares, but I will see whether I can do something...

      Hi !

The latest version available through the Plugin Manager is 0.7.5 :

I've made a test with 0.9 version from SF.net, but I get the same error :-(

In fact, I share the Npp installation on my workstation to be able to use it from all the servers I manage without having to install it on a server to edit a single file !
This way I alway use the latest version with all the handy plugins and manage install/update only one time :)

      Nicolas.
