close console with escape key

    After I use nppexec to compile my code and view the output in the console window… I would like to press the esc key to close the console window.

    I can set a shortcut key of esc for "show console dialog" but the shortcut won't work if when the console is active?
    FYI: Using the ~ key instead does work.

    Don't know about Esc, but you can modify behaviour of "Toggle Console Dialog". In the Console, press F3 or F7 and check "Hide toggled Console" in the appeared bottom controls. (Or you can press Ctrl+T in the Console to get the same effect.)
