Check and see if the Server service is running, I use to disable it on single user machines that wore not networked so I ended up with this error, explorer (and light explorer) plugin needs server.

It would be nice if these plugins were not just hanging the whole application but posting a message about the missing service.
There never was an answer to bug tickets about this issue. Does anybody read the bug tickets?

I am having notepad++ v 6.5.4, i installed explorer plugin 1.8.2, but after installing , my notepad++ is not starting up.
If i remove the explorer.dll from plugins folder, notepad++ is working correctly.
Please help me in this issue.
