Is it possible to have an example of a .btn file to put under ..\plugins\config, perhaps including .ico and everything needed, to understand how to configure the Custom Buttoms in this plugin?

I would love to see your setup and files, I'm struggling to get a custom icon, only a grey circle with a ? inside.
