Introduction

The NOVUS Entrepreneurship Training Program is a project aimed at introducing the most essential business and IT skills to today's young entrepreneurs.

The project has two parts:

  1. A series of video lessons. This includes 24 lessons introducing important business theory and practices, as well as 12 lessons illustrating the basics of Microsoft Office Suite's Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  2. A business simulator where students can work together to apply what they've learned. In the game, students will make managerial decisions regarding capital purchases, financing, production, human resources, and marketing. Over six rounds, teams will have to plan and adapt to a dynamic market to grow their business and be successful.

The program is currently in a beta stage, but will hopefully be available in early summer of this year.
