Sainathan Sivasubramanian provided us with some patches to our OCSP client code in order to get it working with some established OCSP responders.
Unfortunately, some of the changes will break compatibility with our own OCSP server that is fully RFC compliant as well.
For this reason, Sai's changes won't go into our main distribution but result in a patch you can download in the files section:

Novosec AG (www.novosec.com) is proud to release its first Bouncy Castle extension package. It contains stable implementations of the CMP (RFC 2510, RFC 2511) and OCSP (RFC 2560) protocols and relies on some classes of the Legion of the Bouncy Castle.
The whole code was written in pure Java and is absolutely free for everybody (MIT license).
