Hi everybody, Welcome Walter and Jerry. I have send all discussion about motors and the "Motion Control Coprocessor" to the Nova discussion forum in SourceForge. Here I send you the SGS DataSheets about motion control. I believe that its similar to the HP chip (HTCL1100 I suppose??) I have checked the availability of the HP chips in my country, and the answer was always NO!!. But probably it can be purchased via internet. In any case, whatever the manufacturer, always it will be necessary a processor, whether it be a PC or a microcontroller. For my experience I believe that it is better to use what is found "near my hand" and/or it's widely available. The issue is not to know what manufacturer makes the better chips to control motor . Our first step (in motion control) must be to design a system that could be made in house without problems, so that could help to the success of NOVA. Of course, as more alternatives we be capable of providing, better!!!. Well, my system is up and running, as of this moment already I can return to work "full speed" in spiderd. some commentary about spiderd?, Something about of the protocol ?, Something about of the MCC (Motion Control Coprocessor) and its implementation ? 73's DX Jerry, I'm EA1CHJ Regards Juan Carlos (See attached file: 1393.pdf.gz)(See attached file: 1673.pdf.gz)(See attached file: 1675.pdf.gz)(See attached file: 1740.pdf.gz)(See attached file: 4030.pdf.gz)(See attached file: 4031.pdf.gz) |
