NotifyCD and the visibility / usability of the track
list. I just
encountered another problem with this.
I am using NotifyCD 1.60beta5 on a german Win2000.
I just bought a CD with the Goldberg Variations of
Bach. This CD happens to
have 35 tracks. NotifyCD will not show all tracks in
the menu but creates a
group for every ten tracks. This is ok. But the
NotifyCD-menu is shown in
two rows (at least with my configuration, normally I
think this very handy)
and as the tray icon is placed at the lower right
corner of the screen there
is no place for the submenu to be shown right of the
main menu. So it is
placed left (I think this is a Windows behaviour and
not NotifyCD-logic).
But now it is not reached easily. I try to open the
submenu, leading the
mouse out of the menu to the right, then around the
whole menu to the
submenu on the left entering this by the left side.
Most of the times the
submenu just closes when I leave the menu item
(i.e. "Track 1 to 10 >"...).
But not every time.
I enclosed a screen shot for better unterstanding.

This is Windows behaviour. I was able to replicate this
behaviour using The Beatles - 1 (27 tracks).
The speed at which the track submenu closes is defined by
the Menu Speed setting using Tweakui for Win 9x/NT. I don't
know if Tweakui works for Win2K or if there's an equivalent
tool, but if you slow the Menu Speed setting down, you
should be able to get to the title list submenu.
