Hello, you may be thinking by now. What is NotepadXP? Or, what program is this? Well, NotepadXP is An Advanced IDE Program for Windows 7/8/10.

The Difference between Old & New

There are two reasons why we selected Windows 7/8/10 instead of Windows XP/Vista.

1. Windows XP & Vista's .NET Framework Compatability is not Compatible with .NET Framework 4.7.2 & Higher.
2. All Modern programs have discontinued Windows XP & Vista.

Is this Program Open-Source?

The Short Reason, Yes. The Long Reason, Because we want to support all modifications to the program itself. We do not like people selling the exact same program but with different names and logos. You can get copyrighted for this kind of act.

Bug Report

Hello, I found some bugs while trying the app. I'm using Windows 10:

1) When you delete some text using the Delete action (either by selecting it from the menu or by pressing the Del key) and then you click the Undo action, nothing happens. The Undo action doesn't work and it won't restore the deleted text. The Undo action works fine after the Cut or Paste actions. The problem seems to be specifically with the Delete action.

2) If you open a new window using the "New Window" option from the menu, then closing the first window will also result in the second window closing too for some reason. It works fine when you open a second window by double clicking the executable file instead, since closing the first window won't affect the second one.

3) When you add the date using the Time/Date action (either by selecting it from the menu or by pressing F5), then the cursor goes back to the start of the first line instead of at the end of the date you just added.

Also, the Tab key and right-click don't work in the text editor. I don't know if this is intentional or a bug, but I thought I should let you know.
