Thank you for your patch.
However the patch doesn't include the fixes about 2 issues you pointed out:
1. valDataLen & valType, should be DWORDs, as specified in the RegQueryValueEx documentation.
2. Next, (the overrun) nobody checks the return value of RegQueryValueEx.
Do I miss somethings?

Yeah, this actually seems to no longer be a problem. You can close/ignore this and I'll open up another ticket if I find a problem.
