The "mark all" function doesn't math whole word only.
Sometime we need this option, sometime we needn't.
So we can use the "Match whole word only" option of the "find and replace dialog" in the markAll function to improve our Npp experience.

Here is a patch.

Thanks a lot for your job, N++ rocks

I just tried in v6.4.5 (w/o your patch), "match whole word only" works for "mark all" feature.

    Where is the problem?

    Hi Don,

I mean in "mark all" the markAll function in FindReplaceDlg.cpp (trunk\PowerEditor\src\ScitillaComponent\FindReplaceDlg.cpp) which is called by the menu
    "Search\MarkAll\Using 1rst Style" or "Search\MarkAll\Using 2nd Style" or "Search\MarkAll\Using 3rd Style" ...

Mark all (5 styles available) feature will use 2 options "Match case" and "Match whole word only" from Find/Replace dialog. If a part of the word is selected, then "Match whole word only" will be always false, whatever the value is in Find/Replace dialog.
