To make all the Vista User Access Control and annoyances go away in Notepad++ you simply need to add a section to the "notepad++.exe.manifest" file found in /Powereditor/src directory.

<trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v2">
<security>
<requestedPrivileges>
<requestedExecutionLevel level="highestAvailable" uiAccess="false"/>
</requestedPrivileges>
</security>
</trustInfo>

    it should be <requestedExecutionLevel level="asInvoker"/> instead of
    <requestedExecutionLevel level="highestAvailable" uiAccess="false"/>
    for GUP instead of Notepad++.exe

    Thank you anyway for this information.
