I just rried to install notepad++ and receive an intercept message from McAfee saying the following:
"In our tests, this download contained programs some people would consider adware, spyware, or other potentially unwanted programs"
This is really upsetting me!!!
What is the deal, and What can be done to get Notepad++ right with McAffe
I have recomended Notepad++ to too many people to have them all deal with this
McAffee has been having an awful log of false positives as of late. I would switch AntiVirus Providers, and go with a combination of tools.
I personal use AVG-free, Advanced System Care 3, and Spybot Search & Destroy. between those 3 my system stays in tip top shape.
