I do have the latest Notepad++

The problem that Notepad++ has always had is how the paste function works when pasting from external source.

EVERY OTHER TEXT EDITOR I have ever used treats pasted text as if you typed it in manually and PLACES THE CURSOR AT THE END OF THE PASTED TEXT.

Notepad++ presently leaves the cursor at the beginning of the pasted text when you copy text from an external source and paste to Notepad++.

Placing the cursor at the end of pasted text, regardless of source, should be implemented in Notepad++, or at least be an option.

    Moin, moin,

I just tried this in version 6.6.7 and 6.6.8...

In my installation I can not reproduce this issue. I am suspecting that a plugin cause this behavior. Give it a try and and start your Notepad++ without a plugin (make sure that Notepad++ is not running, rename the plugins folder in your Notepad++ installation directory and start Notepad++).

    Regards,
    Thomas

Yup, this is probably a plugin issue. Can't reproduce it either.

You guys are correct. Now all I have to do is figure out which plugin.

Hit the plugin causing the problem on first try. Compare plugin, just deleted "ComparePlugin.dll" and cursor works correctly.

    Thanks guys!
