In the XML translation files in the <MessageBox> section there are som \r signs. But these signs are not turned into newlines in Notepad++.
You can test it in the Setting menu by selecting Edit Popup ContextMenu. There is a \r sign in the middle of the dialog box text.
Also why would a newline sign be \r anyway ?

You are right. \r is not working in translated XML.
Use "
" string instead of "\r", without the double quotes, that works!
