After updating to version 5.1, I was told that the following plugins would no longer work and needed to be deleted:

    ComparePlugin.dll
    Explorer.dll
    LightExplorer.dll
    NppExec.dll
    QuickText.dll
    SpellChecker.dll

Will the plugins be updated at all to work with the new version?

    Thanks...

When do these plugins support UNICODE?

In the meanwhile you can download version 5.1 ANSI, which is compatible with every plugin. You can find it in the .zip file. If you need those plugins, you don't need to downgrade to 5.0.3 (or any older version). I'm saying this because I've noticed that a lot of people are not aware of the fact that there is also an up-to-date ANSI version.

NppExec 0.3 beta1 (Unicode) will be released in the November, I think. This version contains a lot of new features, and everything must be tested. If somebody is interested in preliminary testing, please contact me (e-mail in NppExec -> Help/About...) or write your request in NppExec's forum in the "npp-plugins" ("Notepad++ Plugins") project.

        Thanks a lot, Jens.

Is there any chance that the spellchecker plugin will also support Aspell 0.6 (e.g. http://www.nosq.com/blog/2005/07/aspell-0603-for-win32\) ? Hungarian isn't in Aspell 0.5...

        Regards, Laci

Great news, can't use N++ without a few of these!

Will your list also include Favorites?

      all the best

Function List doesn't work in 5.0.3 but it is still listed at http://notepad-plus.sourceforge.net/uk/download.php without any note. Please note that it doesn't work, or fix notepad++ so that it works. Thanks.

Both Function List and Notepad++ are open source projects, it means that the developers make their work available freely for you. If you want to trade your time to make things better, you are welcome, otherwise stop bitching, use another product.

I do appreciate the time developers put into develop notepad++. But how hard is it to note that a plug-in listed at the official website isn't compatible with the latest version? No user that downloads Function List can get it to work and won't know why! Just because you can't be bothered spending 5 minutes adding a note about it, I have to spend 1 hour scratching my head?
