I use Notpad++ for basic file editing, filtering and viewing. Almost like Excel really. Anyway, is there a way so that it does NOT keep a cache of old files when a new file is opened? I just want to see one tab on top, the current file I'm working on and that's it. I can't find where that setting is anywhere.

Say you have file A open. Then you open file B. Do you want file A to be closed and file B opened?
