How to make NP++ an old DOS Editor... like IBM PROFESSIONAL EDITOR 30 years old

    Sorry for my bad english, I'm an Italian DOS Editor called IBM PROFESSIONAL EDITOR :(
    I would use NP++ but i don't want CR-LF. I would continue to write or move cursor beyond CR-LF, like an Excel table, where I can freely move my cursor, like a CHESSBOARD.

    Is it possible by NOTEPAD++ ?!?!? Which plugin or setting can I activate to obtain this?

    I don't think such a plugin can be written. There are other editors which act like the old ones, see for instance:
