Hi, I want to select text and count the strings in that text. Currently in 6.5.5 it counts all strings in the whole file, but I only want to count the strings in the selected text. The string I want to count is "<Tc>".
Is there a plugin for this? Would a newer version do this?

Well... It's not so intuitive, but select the text and bring up Find and replace. Click "In selection" and replace <Tc> with <Tc> (i.e itself). Then click Replace all. You will see the count in the bottom of the screen.
