I'd like to open a file at a specific line number so I wish a command line option just like the "Go to line..." command that is already available from Search menu. Can someone help me???
I have the same need and it's quite urgent as usual.
The reason why is that we use Notepad++ to open different files from scientific software we developed. The main program runs the execution of the text editor (e.g. Notepad++) indicating the name of the file to open and the line we want to display first.
So a command line option would be fine. For instance -LINEline number
Thanks for your help
OK, that'll be in the next release.
I tried the 3.0 RC version but I can't find any document about the command line sintax...
How does it works?
the syntax is :
notepad++ -n<#> <File To Open>
notepad++ -n150 E:\Sources\notepad++\PowerEditor\src\Notepad_plus.cpp
Great tool thanks very much for it : )
Any chance you could add Column (most useful) and Selection to the Search - Go to Line # option? would be very handy for me and cant find in any other text editor.
Thanks : )
