    Hi,
I made a UDL and the coloring works fine:

What does not work is highlighting and collapsing of matching tags as it works with NPP's own HTML language on the same file:

What must I do that the highlighting and collapsing works in my UDL as in NPP's HTML?

    Hi bege,

this is not supported in UDL.

    Hi Loreia,

sorry for my late response. I cannot find how to subscribe this thread, so I didn't get a notice of your reply.

Thank you for your answer, though it really is a pity because this feature is very helpful with the internal languages of notepad++.
Actually my UDL is like HTML only with other keywords. Is there any work-around? Like exporting the internal HTML and import it back with changed keywords? Or something else?

    Hi bege,

you can try editing langs.xml file, to extend list of supported keywords in HTML lexer.

This works now, thank you, Loreia. (It took a while until I realized that the keywords in langs.xml must not contain capital letters.)

But actually XML should work also with this syntax? But it doesn't. Some are correct, others are not. Do you know why?
