Require white space after comment character

Since version 6.2 came out, it appears that characters used to comment code no longer require a trailing white space.  Does anyone know if it is possible for users to reverse this behavior?

My statistical software program uses the character * to comment lines of code. The * symbol also represents multiplication in my statistical software program, which I don't include spaces after in my code.  It would be great if the requirement that a space be present after a comment character is typed could be reversed on an as needed basis for users who require this behavior.

    Hi achappel,

there is no way to do that in new UDL.
You will have to revert to any version older than 6.2.

This feature will be present in some future version of UDL, but so far your only option is to downgrade Notepad++.
