Is it possible to search and replace all within selected text? For example, the user selects lines of text in a file, executes a replace function which would only affect the selected lines of text. There are many times when modifying code when it would be usefull to replace a word within a class or method without affecting the rest of the file. I realize that I could use the find next/replace buttons within the replace dialog, but this can get time consuming at times.
OK, It's in the TODO list.
I'll implement that but not immediately.
Too many things to do and I'm alone...
Also does this do across the tabs search and replace? Ie can it be made to search through all the open files you have in one go?
I'll consider it.
I've tried to do a search-and-replace for the WHOLE text. I wanted to change all '&NBSP"-s into a single space by the function "hcange all". it said to me it has been all 2572 items replaced, but it hasn't done anything. Can it be made at all ?
could you send me this file to :
I'll try to reproduce the problem to identify the bug
This bug is fixed.
The correction will come up with v2.6
