Default handling for .dsw back to VS

  • Nobody/Anonymous

i have a little problem. After the installation of Notepad++ (which is a very nice and usefull tool!) my *.dsw (visual studio projects) files open with Notepad++ by default.
How can i switch the default back to VS?

Is it possible that windows use the first entry from the context-menu (right
click on the file in the windows-explorer), if there is no default set for
      this fyle-type. (For example .dsw)

      To walk arround this :

      - open Windows-Explorer

      - navigate to "Tools > Folder Options... > TypeFiles

      - Select the entry DSW and click the Button "Advanced"

      - In the new window you can set an exising Acion to default (Select the
action you want to set as default and click the button "Set Default")

Otherwise you just uninstall Notepad++, then re-install it without checking "context Menu" option.

Please let me know if it works.

      Hello Don,

it worked. Just walked to "Explorer/Tools...." that's it. I tried this before, but forgot to press "Set default".
      It's not my day...
