    Hello Samir,

May be I'm wrong, because I'm French, but I think that :

    • Standard Arabic characters, in the last Unicode 6.3 version, have code-points, between the hexadecimal values 0x0600 and 0x06FF. See the list of these characters at the address below :

    http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/Unicode-6.3/U63-0600.pdf

    • Supplement Arabic characters, in the last Unicode 6.3 version, have code-points , between the hexadecimal values 0x0750 and 0x077F. See the list of these characters at the address below :

    http://www.unicode.org/charts/PDF/U0750.pdf

Normally, Notepad++ do manage Arabic characters, even with the default font Courier New for default style style !

And, on my French local configuration of N++, with the help of the Win XP tool Characters table in Programs\Accessories, I was able, inside N++, to write some Arabic characters in a new file and then, with a search/replacement, to change them by other Arabic characters :-)

So I think that your file doesn't use a right encoding : you would rather use the UNICODE encodings of N++, like UTF-8, UCS-2BE or UCS-2LE. It should work right !!
